Hi, I have always been a silent reader but this time, I really hope to get some advice from you guys (IMG:http://flowerpod.com.sg/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have been together with my bf for the past 3 years and we have been through quite abit. From LDR to many issues here and there with regards to family, friends, money, school etc. I would say that I have given up quite alot of aspects of my life for this relationship because I really love him.

I thought that after the whole LDR thing ends, we can finally have a normal, healthy and happy relationship. I guess all these while after I have been back from my studies have been great, just some minor issues here and there.

However, last night I found out that he lied to me and totally broke my trust. I admit that I have done something similar to him before, but after that incident, we made a pact to build our trust up from the basics.

The issue was not the content as to what he has lied to me, but that after I found out, he actually said that I have done it before and have no reason to get angry. I can't argue with that, but if this argument is going to go on, it will only be a vicious cycle. And on hindsight, I realised that he has done alot of things to cover his tracks.

So I left and decided that we just need to cool down for awhile before the argument gets out of hand. And he msged me and said that he is too tired to deal with all these arguments and said he has better things to do with his time. No apologies, or any sort even though he knew that he did wrong.

I feel very disappointed because all these while, I have really been trying very hard to make this relationship work. The previous time when I lied to him, I really did everything I could to apologise and try to work things out and even re-evaluated myself and the way I handled things. We have had many family issues, monetary issues and lifestyle issues that we finally managed to iron out. Just when I thought that everything can finally be alright, the thing that irks us the most - breaking trust, is here to give the last straw.

I don't know what to do. This relationship has been given too many tries and I feel very tired, I am sure the same is for him too. But I am very unwilling to give up because the last 3 years have been bitter sweet. I have given up so many things to finally have a stable relationship. I really want to make things work, but we are both very tired already; yet unwilling to give up.

I am so tired, I wonder if any of you feel this way. What should I do?
