Many of you actually pm me asking me about the progress of my treatment with Alaxis, I felt it be good if podders like myself could have a channel whereby we give comments on our progress and feedback/pointers on Alaxis clinic.

My reply was its better to seek Dr Ng about the cost, as my scarring condition was rather severe.
It’s something like Mark Lee, but much much worst than him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/redface.gif)
So I believe the cost of the treatment could rather be subjective, depending on the skin condition.
My sharing, after consult so many doctors, I felt Alaxis cost is the cheapest among all.
In the past, I had done pixel and RF treatments, both treatment would cost me $1k per session...

So far, I had only done 2 sessions. I felt after each treatment, the skin really look much better. But short-life span, the skin went back to normal as before. Myself, probably looking at the mirror everyday, can't really see much improvement or any significant changes on the skin.
However, I notice an improvement. Which is when I’m taking pictures, my complexion look much better.

Ok, an important point I must comment, probably its the condition of my skin.
As my skin is so badly scarred, it may took tons and tons of treatment. My objective is simple, I’m not asking for flawless skin but at least, improved condition of current.

If you insist to give a rating over my progress, over a rating of 10. I give it a 3/10.
Reminder, only 2nd session. Do admit i am skeptical over the 70% improvement promised by Dr Ng.

Overall, its nice. Alaxis got 2 friendly clinic assistant, rather talkative. But its good, calm me down..
As each treatment, I was rather tensed up...
Good sound system, wonder what system they actually got there.

He is a nice young chap. Good complexion, great affection for cars and music.
I believe he drives a Lexus (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hug.gif)
However, rather busy.. The only time i get to talk to him, was the first session.
After so, it's straight to the treatment.. Don't really have much time to chat with him, address my concerns to him...

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Is there any side effects like increased skin sensitivity/prone to breakouts/pigmentation?
Yes, skin has become rather sensitive and prone to breakout, it's pretty norm.
I read some articles which talks about scar treatment, the purpose is to remove the top layer of the skin, whereby body will generate collagen for growth and recovery.
Pigmentation, yes. A small area of my skin actually turns black.
But this is a normal sign, to counter this, after my skin heals.
I actually apply whitening cream, sort of bleach. Purpose is to remove the redness and pigmentation.

First treatment is painful, due to the subcision and laser combination... even with the G.A cream and injection, it was still painful. Second treatment without subcision, ok. still bearable.
I had done pixel laser, compared to Alaxis laser, i would say its at least 3 times of pixel.

Another pointer to note, different people have different threshold of pain. Maybe mine is lower. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dribble.gif)

Do take note, I’m writing strictly from my own point of view, if any above statement offended/upset any soul, do pardon me. And, some pointers might be wrong, after all, my designation does not do with medical/skin. In fact, I am just a purchaser..

Scar treatment, is a painful and lonesome road. Don't expect miracle to happen overnight.
Myself, who had been living with it for the past 15 years, spend a hefty sum of saving over it..

Have faith, all I can say is keep on trying and trying.
