Hello podders

Just wanted to seek your advise on this matter. I got to know my gf from china (online) and seriously we never meet each other in real life (except on webcam). We started out only recently around two months plus and I even agreed to go to her country to visit her in march next yr. Over these short time span, we did talk alot about our future, where do we see ourselves two-three years down the road, who is going to move over to her country etc.

I even managed to get the support of her second sister that we should be together. However ytd I was shocked when she told me she is going to give me up because other than her second sister, her parents and her big sister are not going to accept me because I am a foreigner even though I am a chinese.

The reason being cultural differences. I mean to me whats so hard about overcoming cultural differences? She try begging her family to let us be together and I even had a heart to heart talk with her big sister. I tried my best to convince her big sister my sincerity and that I have planned this for our future etc and that we should meet up to resolve any misunderstandings.

But NO, her big sister wont even budge. The funny thing is her big sister is the same age (ie 28) as me exposed to the Internet world, western ideas etc. I even saw her on a foreign dating website and now she comes over and tells me she cant accept our western culture.
I was disappointed and ytd my gf told us we are going to break coz she is going to listen to her family.

I was angry with her and her family because she gave up so easily when I havent even got the chance to prove myself and my sincerity.

Even now I feel very disappointed and I would really like some advice from podders. To continue, give up etc etc. Really thanks a lot.
(PS: OK I understand that a lot of questions will start coming in like how sure can you be she is the one etc etc , but can we avoid that questions for the moment coz we overcame that long ago. Really appreciate that)
