Hi Ladies,

I went on a holiday last December (10th to 17th) thus I went to my GP and requested for a pill to delay my period. (FYI, my period usually comes on the 16 or 17 of the month). I started the pill on 3rd Dec (Doc advised to start 1 week before holiday) and stopped the pill on the 15th. He advised that its hormones, not contraceptives.

My period came on the 18th December.

It's the 16th this month but I've no symptoms of my period coming anytime soon (i.e. no swollen breasts etc like it usually would).

During this period I still had sex though. Is it normal for periods to come later than usual after having the pills? I heard from my friend that after she had the pill, her whole menstrual cycle totally screwed up.

Will get a pregnancy kit just to be sure later on.
