so anyway, is there a difference between kcal and calories, or are they interchangeable? i know kcal = kilo calories, but how come when we're talking about food, it says something like, "recommended intake for an average person is 1800 kcal", but on those machines, eg, treadmills, we lose xx
calories after jogging/exercising..
so are we really eating 1,800,000 calories, and when we exercise, we only lose like 500 calories per session?! (IMG:
