My bf loves me to attend his family's events. He is in NS now and is very close to family. He likes to bring me for all his family's outings, chalets, Kbox sessions... ... At first, I don't really mind but he really expects me to turn up for every outing. It makes me so paiseh, what if his parents think I don't have my own family meh? Or am I coming for free food?
It makes me paranoid because I'm close to my family as well and I hate it if his relatives think that way! We've talked abt this issue and he laughed it off , saying I'm too sensitive or paranoid. I understand that he is in NS and needs time with family since he is so family orientated but that doesn't mean that i've to go as well right? I've my own family too!!!! But my bf told me that I see my parents from mon-fri., why can't I even join them for a weekend. Honestly, I don't mind but his family reallygot alot of stuffs.... And he will be unhappy if I don't turn up and sometimes we quarrel because of this. Why do bfs like to bring their gf to attend this kind of family gathering ??!!! What can I do to prevent these unnecessary quarrels? |
