I'm not sure if I'm clear in the topic.. I just wanted to do a rough survey of how many "tables" (of the wedding banquet) the guys side will typically give to the girls side for the wedding in current circumstances. Or if don't give "tables".. then replace with what?

my elder sister had 8 tables from her hubby.. but my SO says her parents think 4-5 is the standard rate... I'm just worried my parents won't be really happy with that.. so juz wanna do a survey...
