Hi all,

I am currently working in tax dept in one of the big 4. I have worked there for 1 year plus.

I graduated with a business degree and I am currently taking ACCA so that I can have better career advancement in the accounting field.

I am considering whether to switch to accounting. I feel that tax is a bit too specialise and it might limit my career options in the future.

I need some advice here whether I should continue to do tax or should i switch to accounting? Which one is more challenging and pays higher?

I saw on the job classified that usually companies don't hire fresh grad as accountant. Then how to become an accountant when I have no prior experience in handling 1/2 or full sets of accounts?
